PHOENICIA — Please join singing actor WALLACE NORMAN for a stroll, an amble, a saunter, a jaunt, perhaps a perambulation down his very dusty musical road at the PHOENICIA PLAYHOUSE May 1 at 7pm, May 2 at 2pm, and May 3 at 2pm. Rehearsals move into the beautiful old playhouse on Monday next week. The great technical team of George Muller, Geneva Turner and Brandon Salvia are taking great good care of our production.

"It is a true joy to create this cabaret program collaborating with the amazing jazz pianist PAUL ANTHONY DUFFY. Paul brings an elegant musical sensibility to his amazing arrangements of an extraordinary collection of musical theater songs. We have some Sondheim, songs from the Depression Era, songs written for me and a set of songs by the great Jacques Brel. And I am thrilled that my friend and veteran stage director HANK NEIMARK has joined us bringing theatrical sophistication to the party. This STROLL DOWN A MUSICAL ROAD is a very personal one for me beginning with my very first musical memories. Since my beginnings as a performer some decades ago I have had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the most extraordinary musical artists. I could not be more excited to share this work,” said Wallace Norman.
