DELHI — DCHA is pleased to announce our first fundraising bus trip of 2026. On Thursday, June 11 we invite friends and members of the museum to travel with us to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), located in Hyde Park. Here guests will take part in an immersive educational experience touring parts of the CIA facility and then enjoy an elegant three-course authentic Italian lunch in the Institute’s own Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici dining room. The restaurant is located in a grand Tuscan style villa overlooking the Hudson River and a stunning herb and rose garden.
After lunch we will travel to Vanderbilt Mansion Historic Site to enjoy a guided tour of the Vanderbilt home and beautiful gardens. Designed by one of the nation’s preeminent architects the mansion is a home built expressly for the aristocratic lifestyle. The tour presents about eighteen rooms on three floors. The mansion is accessible via a mechanical chairlift for entrance into the building and a historic elevator for access to all floors.
Cost: DCHA members $170 / Non-members $190.
(Price includes transportation, all admissions and three-course lunch, plus a donation to DCHA.) Reservations required by May1st.
