SCHOHARIE - The first Schoharie community fest will take place on Wednesday, June 24 from 4 to 7PM at Schoharie Central school. The rain date will be Thursday, June 25. 

This event will kick off summer with family, friends and neighbors. They will be free hotdogs, strawberry shortcake, and Stewart’s ice cream cones. 

Events include a free-throw contest, chalk drawing, a Pickleball tournament, a free Zumba class, free food, and food trucks for food to purchase. In addition there will be information on job skills, Wildlife Alive birds of prey, story time, and college/career fair, which will include Russell Sage, HVCC, FMCC, Maria College HCCC, US Army, and CTE programs. You can also get information on mental health, Workforce Solutions, SEEC, the Schoharie Free library and First New York. Live music will be provided by the North  Allen Street Duo.. Contributions were made by Sterling insurance and Stewarts Shops.
