COBLESKILL — Cobleskill Partnership Inc. cordially invites the community to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of The Ramada Inn, located at 121 Burgin Drive in Cobleskill.

The ceremony will begin on Friday March 27th at 2:00PM at the front entrance of the hotel. The event will feature remarks from distinguished guests, including former NY-19 Representative and candidate for the 102nd State Assembly district seat this fall Marcus Molinaro, 102nd Assemblyman and candidate for NYS Senate district 51 Christopher Tague, Cobleskill Town Supervisor Werner Hemple, Cobleskill Mayor R. J. Freitag.

“For way too many years, Cobleskill and Schoharie County have been without an operator of this great hotel. The economic impact of the opening of The Ramada cannot be underestimated,” said Bruce Tryon, President of Cobleskill Partnership Inc.

“We are so happy to see the lights on at The Ramada. This entire region will benefit from the opening of this hotel, which holds a rich history in Cobleskill, Schoharie County, and the surrounding area,” added Assemblyman Christopher Tague.

“Cobleskill and Schoharie County deserve a well run hotel such as this Ramada. I must single out both Werner Hemple and Mike Piccolo from Cobleskill for their support and hard work.  We are so happy to finally be able to book and accept guests,” say Harry Snadhu operating partner of the Ramada.  “We also thank all of the well wishers that have approached us from the area”, says Snadhu.

Community members, local businesses, and guests are encouraged to attend and celebrate this important milestone for the region.
