Members of BSA Troop 56 of Lawyersville earned a clean sweep at the 2026 Leatherstocking Council First Aid Meet held on March 14th at SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta, New York.

Troop 56’s 3 senior patrols placed first, second, and third in the senior team division. Scouts demonstrated emergency response skills including bandaging, splinting, and patient care while being evaluated by judges.

The annual competition challenges scouts to apply their first aid training in timed emergency scenarios without the use of electronic devices or manuals.
