COBLESKILL — The Caroga Lake Music Festival has planned its 15th Season, with a full summer of events including comedy, free kids’ music programs, bandstand concerts, rising artist performances, full orchestra concerts, and more.
We have an opportunity right here, at the Cobleskill United Methodist Church, at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17, to enjoy the 2026 touring Piano and Strings Quartet. Two members of the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Mika Masaki, Concert Pianist, and James Thompson, Violinist, as well as Stephanie Price, Violist, and Dr. Kyle Barrett Price, Cellist, Founder, and Executive Director of Caroga Arts, will perform.
If you arrive by 6:30 p.m. you will also hear and view just-released details regarding exciting Season 15 Summer Events for the upcoming Caroga Lake Music Festival.
You have probably heard of the Caroga Lake Music Festival, which occurs from mid-July through mid-August. Since 2012, folks from Schoharie County have been able to once again enjoy affordable, outdoor and indoor events, comparable to the 1930’s Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey Big Band visits to Sherman’s Amusement Park at Caroga Lake. Less than an hour’s drive from Cobleskill, you can picnic, visit the food trucks, enjoy the sunset, and bring the whole family along. Children age 17 or under, enter free, and that grand Carousel? You and the kids can ride that for free too!
Donations from the April 17 concert will help to support the Schoharie County Mosaic Operation Home Repair Volunteer mission project for 2026.
Bring your friends, family, and Grandma. Come as you are. Handicap-accessible entry doors are located at the left-side entry of the church. Wheelchair-friendly seating is provided.
