COBLESKILL — For the Fall Season, C-R Trap Team Athlete Lauryn Work efforts yielded here a medallion from the NYS Clay Target League for Conference Ten.
Lauryn's season average was 21.7 clays out of 25. Lauryn has worked extremely hard to achieve this goal. With persistence and perseverance, she has become one of the top shooters for the team and now for the league.
She is a shining example of striving to improve one's skills. At the December meeting of the Richmondville Fish and Game Club, Lauryn was presented with her medallion of accomplishment.
Also the team announced the winner of their raffle, Nick Testa won the Henry all Weather Stainless Steel 45-70 lever action rifle. Gus Christman won the $400.00 gift certificate to Agway. The C-R Trap will use the funds raised to pay for all the costs associated with the trap team. The team is looking forward to the spring season and new members are always welcome. The team is open to any student in grades 7-12 in the Cobleskill Richmondville Central School District community. There will be an informational meeting on Monday, February 9th at 7:00p.m. at the Cobleskill Richmondville High School cafeteria for any prospective members and their families.
