COBLESKILL — "I do." Words many of us have said or look forward to saying. Today, March 22, The Bulls Head Inn hosted their first wedding expo. The building was packed from the top floor to the cellar. Each room and hallway had businesses to help future wedding couples plan their perfect day.
The owners, Chris Guldner and Mary Sagendorf welcomed guests into their beautiful business. This building takes you back in time and the wedding exhibition just added to the atmosphere. There were 70 guests pre-registered for this first time event. Bulls Head Inn was ready with 10 staff for the event. Chef, Nancy Manganaro prepared wonderful food for attendees to sample.
I stepped in the front door and was immediately greeted by Mary Sagendorf. To the left of the front door is where brides and grooms could check in to grab their swag bags. To the right, food was set up and waiting for hungry patrons to sample. The second floor had businesses ready to meet and greet you. The cellar was ready to make you a drink or allow you more vendors to shop with.
I headed upstairs to give my son ,Dalton John, his spare clothes for after the event. Dalton was the live model for Life's A Stitch, a professional tailor, owner of Erician Brizzee. Mr. Brizzee asked Dalton to model a tux for him at the event. Mr. Brizzee shared a table with Jeanne Cyr, owner of The Thrifty Bride. This amazing shop is located at 1223 State Route 7 Richmondville. A one stop shipping experience for wedding, proms, and formal wear. Thank you for welcoming him into this event.
I saw so many familiar faces and a few new ones. On the top floor Jenna Malette, from Cross Hill Heirlooms had a beautiful arbor set up with sample pieces throughout the building. Jenna Malette has a shop located at 116 France Lane Cobleskill. Stop in to see her and you will not be disappointed. To go with flowers you could find many destinations like: Cobleskill Agricultural Society, The Sparrow Hawk, and Landis Arboretum.
A wedding venue may or may not have all the decor you need. TBIRDS, in Cobleskill, can help with linens, decor, and more! Or possibly HBH Clydesdales in Carlisle can make your day one of a kind. Party Tent Rentals in Schoharie can bring the event to the location you choose. Don't forget a photographer, Kristi Brymer, can capture your memories.
With many traditional aspects of a wedding, technology can make it personalized just for you! Mediation Made Co, can create apparel, gifts, and more. Bobbi Wayman with B&R Epoxy Plus LLC can create favors, and gifts with a personal touch. Michelle Schaefer, with Why Knot, can make beautiful creatures for your arbor, head and more. Jemazing Creations has Lego wedding guest books and gifts.
I was taken back by all of these amazing businesses under one roof. Big thank you to Melissa Napoli for answering all of my questions, walking me through the expo, and sending me extra images. The staff is talking about hosting again next year.
