LIVINGSTONVILLE — The Town of Broome Volunteer Fire Department announced a new slate of leadership following its annual elections held Tuesday night, naming Nate Trombley as the agency’s new chief.
The election results, shared by the department Wednesday morning, establish the operational and administrative command for the upcoming term. Trombley will lead the firefighting division alongside 1st Assistant Mike Kossow, 2nd Assistant Amy Wayman, and 3rd Assistant Jason Wayman.
Rounding out the operational officers are Captain Tony LaTorre, 1st Lt. Vinny Piraneo, and 2nd Lt. Fred Quick. The department’s emergency medical services will be overseen by EMS Capt. Janet Rose and EMS Co-Capt. Brian Chichester.
In addition to the fire-ground leadership, the department elected Amy Wayman to serve as president of the organization. She will be supported on the executive board by Vice President Dexter Baker, Treasurer Vinny Piraneo, and Secretary Jess Williams.
The department also welcomed Kristen Spickerman, Jess Trombley, and Bill Kossow as its newest board members.
