HOBART —Bill Birns visited Hobart on Saturday, April 11th to celebrate Peter Pan in the Catskills and Other Historical Essays, published by Purple Mountain Press (March 2026). Birns edited the collection of 33 essays and contributed one of his own, "John Davenport Clarke: Farmer, Forester, Congressman", which explores the legacy of "Hobart's greatest" (albeit largely forgotten) son. Books are available for purchase at The Hobart Exchange, 40 Cornell Avenue. Open 11 to 5 daily.
