ASHLAND — Community members are invited to the Ashland Town Hall on Saturday, April 11, for a "Breakfast Feast and Chinese Auction" benefiting the local fire department.

The breakfast will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the town hall, located at 12094 State Route 23. Attendees can choose between eating in or taking out. The menu features a variety of classic morning staples, including eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, and French toast served with local maple syrup. A breakfast sandwich on a hard roll with home fries is also available.

Organizers noted that the meal is being provided for a free-will offering.

While the breakfast takes place at the town hall, the accompanying Chinese auction will be held across the street at the Ashland Fire House. Ticket sales for the auction begin at 7:30 a.m., with sheets priced at $5 each. The drawing for prizes is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

The event serves as a lead-up to a major regional milestone later this year. The Ashland Fire Department will host the 138th Greene County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention from Sept. 9 through Sept. 12.

For more information regarding the breakfast or the upcoming convention, interested parties can contact Diane at 518-734-3636.
