WINDHAM — As the winter season comes to a close, the Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) will host its annual Ralph Hartman Tribute Cup and Dinner Dance on Saturday, March 14.
The Ralph Hartman Tribute Cup is the organization’s end-of-season ski and snowboard race celebrating ASF students and their accomplishments throughout the winter. The race gives athletes the opportunity to showcase the skills they have developed on the slopes during the season.
The race will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Windham Mountain Club’s "Whiteway" trail. Spectators are encouraged to attend and cheer on the adaptive athletes as they make their way down the course.
Following the race, ASF students and volunteers will gather at the ASF Lodge for race results and end-of-season awards.
Later in the evening, the ASF Lodge will transform from ski school to rock show as the rock ’n’ roll-themed Ralph Hartman Dinner Dance begins at 5:30 p.m. Students, volunteers and guests are encouraged to dress as if attending a rock concert or as their favorite rock star from any era of rock ’n’ roll.
