Wow what an incredible turn of events with the weather; 60 degrees in March. Did everybody get out and take a little walk? The geese must have got a memo as I heard them flying in on Sunday.

The rise and fall of temperatures caused our drain pipe out of the garage to freeze which is a pain in the neck to deal with but we did get it open like we normally do; happens pretty much every year. It’s amazing, all the snow/ice is all melted off the roof too.

Did the time change affect you much? Takes a day or two to acclimate to the change and get in the groove again.

It was really tough to find an affordable corn beef for St. Patrick's Day this year.

As spring comes along there are lots more activities going on.

History

December 10, 1908 Jefferson Courier - Eminence News - Last Sunday Mr. Geo. Harris and wife and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitbeck spent the day with friends at Charlottesville.  Monday evening we enjoyed a very interesting and instructive lecture, “A Trip to Scotland,” by Rev. A. J. Higgens of Cobleskill. Mr. Higgens is a man of deep thought and an exceedingly interesting lecturer. - Next Sunday evening at the M. E. church a special contribution will be taken for the support of the Freedman’s Aid and So. Education. We hope that a hearty response will be given to this cause.
