Few inches of snow Tuesday morning April 7th and all gone in two days. Then some rain, snow, sleet mix on April 11; winter just won’t give up.
The chickens are really liking the nice days in between winter days digging in old leaves looking for worms I suspect.
Happy birthday to Agnes Steitz.
We had a big flock of turkeys come through Monday morning and stayed around for about 15 minutes. It looked like four toms all strutting, displaying their tail feathers and gobbling and a bunch of hens calmly pecking the ground. I believe we were witnessing mating season. Photo by Andy. The chickens were on alert when the turkeys went thru.
