As we leave March of 2026, I look forward to Spring and more celebrations. Last week we celebrated our son Dalton. He is a homeschooled Senior.  Dalton buckled down in school and was able to move from 11th grade to 12th grade this school year. Since he is not in school, we allowed him to choose his Senior Trip.

Dalton wanted to see a Hardy concert,  so he chose the Allentown,  Pennsylvania location.  We had him do research to see where else he would like to visit, while we were in Pennsylvania.  Dalton chose the America on Wheels Museum, we went there first.  It was a beautiful building with different eras of transportation. Two levels, with an old soda hop to go through. Next, we went to the National Museum of Industrial History. This place was amazing! I could not wrap my head around the size of motors, machines, and the steel plant where they made the beams to build skyscrapers. We spent time inside and out. That then led us to the main event,  the Hardy Concert! There were two opening acts,  McCoy Moore and Cameron Whitcomb. Both brought the energy the crowd needed before Hardy. Hardy hit the stage and I looked at our boys. I took photos of their faces, not Hardy, I will never forget how happy they were.

For three and a half hours we watched this amazing concert as a family, 12 rows back. Our last day brought us to the Mack Museum.  If you are a truck lover, this place is for you. We love trucks and the history of them. We had a great tour guide, Ken. If you get the chance, stop there. As we drove home, I turned to our quiet backseat l, there were our two sleeping teen boys. Life has moved fast for us, but I am thankful for every second I have been given.

My husband  and I attended our first ever school board meeting on Monday evening.  If you are available  on April 13, at 6:30 p.m., I urge you to go. They are discussing the budget, it is a good way to inform about your community and how funds are used.

The Farm Bureau  will be meeting at the CRCS High School, on April 2, at 7:00 p.m in the Agricultural room. We are helping quiz the FFA on the right to repair. We are always looking for new members.

This weekend brings many events: Little Debs ice cream, in Warnerville,  opens Friday April 3. Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Wheels for our Community is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt in Veterans Park, located in Cobleskill.  Saturday,  April 4, at 4:00 p.m. there is a free community Easter Egg Hunt at the Seward Town Park.

April brings many birthdays! Happy Birthday to: April Chamberlain,  Oliver Nester,  Uncle John Davidson,  Will (Pickle) Harrington,  David Lawyer, Brian Buder, Marranda Lawyer, Lori Cuccinello,  Katlynn Manchester, Megan Jean Steidle. My birthday buddy crew Jackie Kossmann,  Melissa  Chase, and April Miller.

Seward Farmers and Artisans Market, begins on July 1. We are looking for active and retired military. If you have lost a military family member, please come too, to share about them. We would like to thank you for your service and honor those we can not thank. Bring photos, uniforms, military memories to share. Please contact  Angela Clapper to join, 518-337-3722.

As I close my column this week. I hope you all have a blessed weekend.  Each holiday  may look a little  different.  Life is about changes. I am happy to have my family  home with me this weekend and a slow holiday, a relaxing day. May your holiday be whatever you make it. Love to you all♡ Happy Easter
