March has been bringing meetings, sunshine, and hope in our home. This morning,  March 24, we woke to a new calf born on our farm. We have Miniature Belted Galloways. They look like Oreo cookie cows. Funny enough, the first to give birth is our girl Oreo. Larson named her when she joined our farm last Fall. Oreo had a baby girl in the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. So now my favorite task, naming the baby and socializing the baby! Welcome baby Clara!

On March 22, Dalton was asked to be a live model for the wedding Expo at the Bull's Head Inn.  He wore a suit you can order through Life's A Stitch located at The Thrifty  Bride. He looked so grown up and his smile really made him shine. I was taken back because he wore the boots his dad wore to our wedding.  Kiddos grow fast,  you never understand that, until you have your own.

The Town of Seward would like to thank Councilman Harlow and Mark Christman for their work on the flagpole.  We have micro projects going on in our town.  Mr. Harlow tracks them and Mr. Christman is a great volunteer.  Our Seward Town Park is getting a face lift and the pole is the start.

If you are looking for an Easter egg hunt, I have two to share with you. Wheels For The Community is putting in a free one in Veterans Park, in Cobleskill, on April 4 at 11:00 a.m. Many businesses and community members have contributed to help this event to make it happen. There will be some special eggs with special prizes. It will be split into sections according to ages. The second one is put on by Councilman Maryann Nelson at the Seward Town Park on April 4, at 4:00 p.m. Free family fun brought to you by people who care♡

We will celebrate our senior and take him on his senior trip. Dalton is homeschooled so we let him choose his senior trip. He is a go with the flow kind of guy. So I suggested a few things. His eyes lit up when I mentioned a Hardy concert. I immediately knew we had found our trip. I told him to research the area to see what else he may want to do. He found a Truck and Car Museum and Industrial Museum.  So Allentown, PA here come!

Thank you all for reading my column each week

May this week bring you love and hope!
