March is warming up our little town! I do not know about you, but I am loving the fresh, warm air! I have been able to open my windows, take my dogs, and goat for a walk outside. One of my favorite things to do is drive with my windows down and the radio up!
Our spotlight this week is for Aunt Nancy Brumaghim! The Perfect Pallet started when she owned Harmony Acres, 2019/20. With the closing of the store, it permanently became known as The Perfect Pallet in 2023. Looking to do a home paint party, for kids and or adults? Let us know. You provide the venue, and the painters. We provide all materials and the instructor.
Not sure what you want to paint, we help with that too. Always happy to suggest things and give plenty of options to choose from. Shoot us a message to set something up. Also do take home kits if looking for something for the kids to do during breaks. Reaching out for The Perfect Pallet, you can do on my personal account here, on the Perfect Pallet FB page/messenger, or by email at nan.c.b71@gmail.com
The Town of Seward has hired a part-time driver. They are seeking a responsible adult that would like to drive for a full time position. Please reach out to Chad Evans.
With warmer weather comes outside markets! The first committee meeting for The Town of Seward Farmers and Artisans Market is Monday. They hope to share ideas, themes, vendors and more. If you have a theme idea, or wish to be a vendor please call Angela Clapper at 518-337-3722.
There is a pancake breakfast on Saturday March 14, at the Zion Church located at 114 Mesick Ave Cobleskill. Times are 7:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m.. Please come out and support the community. I heard the food is very good. My family and I are hopeful to make it this week.
Don't forget this weekend is the CRCS High school play of Frozen. Tickets can be purchased at the door on Friday or Saturday, show time 7:00 p.m. Sunday the show is at 2:00 p.m.There will be snacks to purchase at low cost, that help the Drama Club as well. Our Tank has a brother involved in the play too! Maverick is the pup of Michael and Mia Lent. It was so cute to have these two meet! Our son Dalton John will be in the play and in stage crew. It is his Senior year and the only year he has been able to do the play. All of the students and adults have been working hard in this play since January. Come watch a great show!
Until next week, think Spring and warm thoughts♡
