Our April has been pretty amazing! I hope you all are having a good April too!  The weather may feel like early Fall some days. Other days it feels like a beautiful Spring day. But we all know this how New York is. Monday, April 13, we saw 49 Winchester at Empire Live, a great show! Smaller venue, and I just enjoy music so much♡

Our family just got back from a mini vacation.  My soul feels so amazing when my feet the sand. We went to Ocean City, Maryland. Our first time to ever go to this state. It was a seven hour drive to get to our beach front, boardwalk home. We stayed at the Virginia Lee on Atlantic Ave. This cute little home was built in 1929. Broken up so that three different  families  could stay there.  We were the only ones for the first three nights. The boys were happy they each had their own bedroom.  My heart kinda hurts that my boys are growing up; at the same time I am thankful to have them growing and healthy.  Our first night we walked the sand, the boardwalk , and to dinner. Surfing Betty Burgers. I was drawn to a table, we sat. I looked around. I then realized why I was drawn there. A plaque on the table said Ronnie's table. If you do not know that was my dad's name, I lost him when I was 9. Jeremy  smiled, as he had lost a boss named Ronnie too. I truly  believe in signs.

The next day we woke up to beach walk and pick up shells. Venturing farther down the boardwalk, then visiting the Ripley's Believe it or Not. That  came with the mirror experience after. All of my boys love arcades, well there was a great one across from these attractions.  Marty's Playland with my all time favorite game Skee Ball, orginal  from 1970! We played a few hours. Ending  our day fresh seafood and the beach waves.

Jeremy  booked a fishing trip with Jason Mumford, Lucky Break boat. We went flounder fishing and Tog fishing. I got sick Tog fishing,  so we went back to flounder.  Jeremy  caught the largest one, we were able to keep 7 fish, the top for the season so far. Great boat to go on if you are looking for one. That night Larson requested mini golf and we played on two different  courses, at the Embers.

Friday was a day Dalton was looking forward to. We hit the go cart track at the Jolly Roger. Three tracks, 1 hour and only the boys there.  The cyclone was the only one of its kind, 3 levels high! It was a warm day, so finally the kids went in the water. We found another arcade and had dinner at Bull on the Beach. Saturday,  we said goodbye to Ocean City.  I really  enjoyed the off season  stay.

Looking ahead, Lawyersville Church will be hosting their rummage sale May 1 and 2. The doors open at nine but the sidewalk  in front will be filled a half hour before.  I love this sale! I usually find my friends there,  Barbara Pierce and Nanette Hellijas, so we can chat before the doors open. I bring my own bag, so my arms are not full.
