Ice Cream Season Returns.
Cobleskill Diner, 117 Granite Drive, Cobleskill, has reopened for the season and remains
known for serving some of the largest ice cream cones in the area. April Hours: Tuesday–Friday 4–8 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 2–8 p.m.
Little Deb’s, 1524 State Route 7, Richmondville, offers a full menu of scoops and sundaes. Hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 2–8 p.m.; Friday–Saturday 2–9 p.m.; closed Tuesdays.
The Brick House Bakery, 503 W. Main Street, Cobleskill, is open daily from 2–7 p.m. with both soft‑serve and hard ice cream available.
CRCS Bulldogs Athletics - The CRCS Boys Varsity Baseball Team is currently ranked #1 in the league with a 3–1 record. Athletic Director John Henry noted the team’s momentum:
“We are ranked #1 in Class B and Section 2 and are riding the wave of last year’s success as sectional finalists. With six returning seniors, strong pitching and additional hitting are carrying the day.”
The CRCS Girls Varsity Softball Team opened their season with a decisive 12–0 victory over Johnstown. Key contributors included pitcher Allison Prezorski, along with Peyton Johns and Madelyn Borkowski. The team will host a home tournament this weekend, facing Unatego at 11 a.m.
Village of Cobleskill -The Village Board of Trustees meets at 5 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Cobleskill Fire Department, 610 East Main Street. Village News: Planning is underway for a 250th Fourth of July Celebration, featuring fireworks, a parade, and festivities at the fairgrounds. Additional details will be announced.
Town of Cobleskill -The Town Board meets at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Cobleskill Fire Department. Town News: A pipe installation beneath Borst Noble Road is scheduled to begin in May. The project will support irrigation for the Cobleskill Golf & Country Club.
Village of Richmondville -The Village Board of Trustees meets at 5:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Village News: Richmondville Days 2026 will be held June 5–7 with the theme “Let Freedom Ring!” Vendor forms: Contact Jen at 607‑427‑9224 Parade entries: Email mbrumaghhim@yahoo.com Next planning meeting: March 18 at 7 p.m., Richmondville Fire House. A Memorial Day Service will be held at Veterans Park on Monday, May 26 at 11:30 a.m., rain or shine. An ice cream social will follow. The Richmondville Volunteer Emergency Squad will host a crockpot dinner on May 29 and a Chicken BBQ on June 19.
Town of Richmondville - The Town Board meets at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Schoharie County Department of Health is having 2026 Rabies Vaccination Clinics: at Cobleskill Fairgrounds: June 10, August 26, October 1 and at Middleburgh Elementary School: July 23
