MIDDLEBURGH — “Joe is a force of nature on stage. Pure magic. He’s in his power AND communes with his audience.”

Joe Crookston has toured with Gordon Lightfoot, headlined major US festivals, received the Folk Alliance International “Album of the Year”, and was named Folk Alliance International Artist-in-Residence.

“Joe is on fire.”  He’s played with Suzanne Vega, Dar Williams, David Francey, John McCutcheon, John Gorka, Judy Collins and hundreds of other big name musicians.

“He’ll  surprise you. He awakens the cynics.” “His rhythm is infectious. In concert, he is funny as hell one moment and transcendent the next.”

Joe Crookston will perform at 4pm, Sunday, April 12th at the Middleburgh Library, as part of the Not So Quiet Concert Series. There is a suggested donation of $15.00 – space is limited, so reservations are required – call 518-827-4953.

All shows in The Not So Quiet Concert Series are fundraisers for the Middleburgh Library. We would like to thank Joe for scheduling this performance on short notice, as the Bruce Foley, Mary Coogan, and Cheryl Prashker concert originally scheduled for April 12th had to be cancelled.
