COBLESKILL — On January 30, 2026, State Police of Princetown, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested Ryan P. Lawyer 21, of Cobleskill, for Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony.

Lawyer is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Lawyer was arrested and processed at SP Cobleskill. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Cobleskill Town Court on February 17, 2026, and released.
