ESPERANCE — Join Landis Arboretum on Lape Road in Esperance for the first 2026 Star Party on March 21 at 8 PM.

Come view the stars and planets in Landis' dark skies with members of the Albany Area Amateur Astronomers.

A variety of telescopes will be set up for viewing the heavens, revealing nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, double stars, planets, and other celestial objects.

The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will be hosting the remaining star parties in 2026 at Landis Arboretum:

Saturday, March 21: 8-10PM

Saturday, April 18: 8:30-10:30PM

Saturday, May 16: 9-11PM

Saturday, June 13: 9:30-11:30PM

Saturday, July 11: 9:30-11:30PM

Saturday, August 8: 9-11PM

Thursday, August 20, club meeting starting at 7:30PM, Star Party following if the skies cooperate

Saturday, Sept 12: 8-10PM

Star Parties are FREE but registration is recommended for notifications about cancellations related to cloudy conditions.
