DELHI – Delaware County District Attorney Shawn J. Smith, announced that the Delaware County Grand Jury returned a 4 Count Indictment against William W. Weil III, 36, of Bainbridge, New York on March 12.
Count One of the Indictment alleges that Weil committed the Class E Felony of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. It is alleged that the defendant was operating a motor vehicle, while intoxicated, with a child in the vehicle on January 22, 2026, in the Village of Delhi.
Count Two of the Indictment alleges that Weil committed the Class E Felony of Driving While Intoxicated. It is alleged that the defendant was operating a motor vehicle while having a BAC greater than .08%, on January 22, 2026, in the Village of Delhi, after having been previously convicted of the crime of Driving While Intoxicated in the prior ten years.
Count Three of the Indictment alleges that Weil committed the Class E Felony of Driving While Intoxicated. It is alleged that the defendant was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, on January 22, 2026, in the Village of Delhi, after having been previously convicted of the crime of Driving While Intoxicated in the prior ten years.
Count Four of the Indictment alleges that Weil committed the Class A Misdemeanor of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
