HOBART--A reception was held on Sunday, February 15th to celebrate the successful relocation of the shops previously housed in The Historic Hobart Inn, Main Street. Egregious code violations forced a December shut down of the building, triggering the sudden evacuation of all residents, residential and commercial. 

The new location is 40 Cornell Avenue, the former home of MacArthur Funeral Home, owned by Paul Decker. Well-wishers enjoyed savory treats catered by Federico Zimerman of Book Village Inn and Bar, situated just across the street. Despite the difficulties of the last few months, the group raised a joyful toast to a bright future in their comfortable new home.
